The Tabernacle The focus of reverence is the Blessed Sacrament contained in the tabernacle. The search for an ornate structure began with a young couple's desire to "ensure that prominence" was given to the Eucharistic Lord. They and other anonymous donors searched across Europe and found this tabernacle among ruins of a Parisian church destroyed in World War II. They had it restored and brought to St. Stephen's parish before dedication of its new sanctuary in 2002. |
